Accessibility Statement

Aralel GmbH wants www.aralel.com to be usable by as many people as possible: with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, high contrast or on a phone. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA.

Scope

This statement covers the website www.aralel.com in German and English. It does not cover our apps and games or the app store pages we link to.

Where we stand

By our own assessment, the website largely meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. It has not been fully audited by a third party.

What we do

• Pages are structured with headings and landmarks (navigation, main content, footer), and each page declares its language.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard. Focus is visible, and the menu, the language choice and the cookie notice close with the Esc key.
• Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1. The light and dark colour schemes follow your device setting.
• Motion and transitions are turned off when your device asks to reduce motion.
• The layout adapts to small screens and stays usable from 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling. Text can be enlarged with your browser settings.
• Controls are at least 24 × 24 pixels, and usually much larger on a phone. Input fields use at least 16 pixel text so your device does not zoom into them.
• Form fields have labels, and status messages are read out by screen readers.
• Images that carry content (screenshots, QR codes) have text alternatives. Purely decorative images, such as product icons next to a name, are hidden from screen readers.

Known limitations

• Screenshots: The alternative text gives the app name and the number of the image. It does not describe what the image shows.
• Third-party content: The app store pages, linked product websites and ads that load only after you consent are outside our control.
• Contact forms: By default they open your email app with a prepared message. If you do not use one, write to us directly at contact@aralel.com.
• Project scoping tool: The tool on the Services page needs JavaScript. Without JavaScript, the regular contact form is available.
• Long tables: Tables in the privacy policy scroll sideways on small screens. You can reach and scroll them with the keyboard.
• Assistive technology testing: We have not yet run systematic tests with screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or NVDA.

How we checked

We assessed the website ourselves on 28 October 2026. Using axe-core 4.14 (rules for WCAG 2.0 to 2.2 levels A and AA, plus best practices), we checked 15 representative pages: home, services, listings, product pages, collections, news, company, careers, press kit, legal notice and privacy policy. We ran the checks at desktop and phone widths, in the light and dark colour schemes. We also checked the language choice, the cookie notice and the open menu. No violations were reported after we fixed the ones found earlier. Automated tools find only part of the possible problems.
